Oerrock

We are the main sponsor of the Oerrock music festival. The 2024 edition was also CO₂-neutral: the festival was not powered by diesel generators but by our Zonnepark Ureterp.

Zonnepark Ureterp

Boonstra owns a solar park with 12,000 panels, generating 4.3 megawatts per year — enough energy for over 1,100 households. Local sports clubs also received solar panels, allowing them to operate energy-neutrally.

Community Involvement

In addition to sponsorship, we provide damaged and recovery vehicles for open days, safety demonstrations and drills, themed events, and promotional activities. For example, we recently supplied a damaged vehicle for a recovery demonstration during a safety event in Leeuwarden.
